Paris Baguette — Broward County's first Paris Baguette is open on University Drive, and the story behind it is a good one: Chris and Kim Shin left careers in management consulting and biotech to open a neighborhood bakery-café in the town they've lived in for six years. Pastries and breads are baked in-house every morning, sandwiches are built on those same baguettes, and there's a window into the cake-decorating room so you can watch the work happen. Chris's picks for a first visit: the ham and cheese pastry, the King Cream Donut, and the Blueberry Chiffon Cake with a ceremonial-grade iced matcha latte.
