Thrills & Chills tickets go on sale Monday, September 14 — $5 if you buy ahead, $8 at the door, and capacity is limited. That's the Coral Springs Halloween event on Saturday, October 17 (two sessions, 12–2p and 3–5p). Our Halloween guide has it alongside the Parkland Pumpkin Patch (Oct 17–18), the Parkland Halloween Festival (Fri Oct 23, 530p) and the Margate Fall Festival (Sat Oct 24, free). I'll keep adding to it as the rest of the cities post their dates — Coconut Creek and Tamarac still haven't. Read it here
Two of this weekend's markets are in our five-city farmers market directory. The Coconut Creek Hometown Market (Saturdays 9a–2p at Township Plaza) and the Tamarac Community Farmers Market (Sundays 9a–2p at Tamarac Park) are both listed above and both written up there, with hours, addresses and what each one actually does well. How Ya Dough'n — Sourdough pizza in the Cornerstone development, and the dough is the whole point: naturally fermented, minimum seven days old, no commercial yeast. Garrett and Gaby Goodman started this in their kitchen during lockdown at 25 pizzas a day, hit 250 a day, opened in Boca in 2021 and made Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. by 2024. This is their first Broward location. They match cheeses to toppings rather than defaulting to mozzarella — the OG (mozzarella, havarti, parmesan, basil, $24 large) is the one to start with, and there's a rotating Pizza of the Month.
