Pavlova Co. — A dessert shop built entirely around pavlova, the meringue dessert that's crisp outside and soft in the middle, from owner Alejandra Cruz Mendoza. She describes the menu as a little journey around the world: pavlovas out of Australia and New Zealand, Italian cannoli, French croissants, Latin American obleas, and Dubai-inspired builds with pistachio, kataifi and chocolate. The room is unapologetically pink and built to be photographed. Worth knowing this week: they're running Pavlova After Hours on Sunday at 8p, a six-course chef's table for 15 seats — it's in Sunday's list above. Now open at 7610 Wiles Rd, Coral Springs.
